Also wanted to say sorry to anyone who felt ghosted while I was nestled in my cocoon. After feeling like shit (both physically and emotionally) for as long as I can remember, I was finally diagnosed with #PolycysticOvarianSyndrome, a chronic hormonal disorder. It has forced me to change my lifestyle drastically, but I’m thankful that there is a medical reason to explain how I’ve been feeling for so long. There is no cure for #PCOS and it’ll always be something I have to deal with… but if all goes according to plan, I’ll be a happier, healthier butterfly soon. 🦋 Thank you all for sticking with me in the meantime. ❤️ Read more via the link in my bio. I grew up in the church, but I had a four year season of rebellion due to church hurt and feelings of disillusionment. I allowed my perception of God to be shaped by people who used His name to co-sign their agenda. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my own walk, it’s that we as imperfect people don’t always do the best job of representing a perfect God to a world that desperately needs Him. I am always praying for grace to do better with that. But that’s why I love Easter so much—today, God speaks for Himself! Easter is a reminder of God’s unconditional love—a powerful, unwavering, relentless love that tirelessly pursues and will meet you where you are. I know what it’s like to walk outside of that love. August will mark seven years in since I came back to grace, and the more I experience this love for myself the more I want it for others 😭 Happy Easter, I love y’all forreal ✝️ #Heisrisen #easter #thetombisempty #miracleseason
